Davina is an actor and writer. She made her professional stage debut for Phoenix Players, performed Fugard for the Courtyard Theatre and played Theresia/Amandla in John Sibi-Okumu’s ‘ROLE PLAY’; some years later, Davina went on to study Acting for Classical & Contemporary Text at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Since then she has performed ‘MAKING It!’, her one woman comedy about the dark-heart of the entertainment industry, to sell-out crowds and rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014, Camden Festival and brought it back home for a Nairobi tour.

She was also in Silvia Cassini’s ‘A MAN LIKE YOU’ which one multiple SANAA Awards and is currently writing and producing a fictional drama series about poaching.

Davina is passionate about doing her part to develop cutting edge, interesting drama in Kenya.
